If you are wondering why we decided to take on such a tricky job, take a look at the original sink, which now lives in the basement. Not only was it lacking counter and storage space, but it stood(hung?) just over two feet off the floor. While it was hilarious watching Rob try to wash his hands, bent over double with his legs spread wide, his back was not laughing :(

I am reading a very fun book and possibly thinking about making myself an origami yoda. How awesome would that be!Over winter break, on Christmas Eve and Boxing Day to be exact, Rob and I replaced the bathroom sink in the downstairs bathroom. It took a lot of drilling, twisting, prying, sawing, buyng new supplies, redoing, undoing, re-redoing and finagling(sp?), but it finally was done, and we LOVE it. Here is a picture of our new sink. We still have more plans for this bathroom. It is nowhere near done. There is tile and paint in its future.
