April 8, 2013: G is for Garlic

We love growing garlic, probably because we love garlic in our food!  This year we have a lot of garlic growing in out yard.  Some of it was expected, and some was a surprise leftover from last harvest.  In fact we still have some of last year's harvest.  It is good garlic!

    Personally am not a lover of garlic but you do seem to be good at growing it. Well done.

    We tried to grow garlic a few times. We just don't have the right kind of soil here so it always came up a bit bitter.

    I love garlic. I think I may have some in the garden but I'm always too concerned that I may be eating something poisonous.

      I believe so. We planted ours. I would love to find wild garlic growing at my house :)

      One of its many amazing uses. I've heard it is supposed to stop mosquitoes from biting also.
