September 4, 2012: First Day of School

Today was our first day back at work.

And even though we don't have a picture, I want to tell you about a skunk that visited our yard last night.  The smell woke us and the cat up. Little did we know that while we were falling back to sleep, the skunk was raiding our pond.  All our pond plants were chewed on and ripped apart.  The filter was pulled off the pump, and the pump was thrown into the middle of the pond.  Also, sadly, I think we may have lost some fish :(  Our little gold guy is still swimming around, but whitey and grey guy are MIA.  Hopefully tonight goes better for them.
