Our porch had some rotting steps, so we decided to spend the day replacing them. We certainly didn't want the mailman falling through a step. Rob had the difficult job: demolition. It required the use of many different tools.
Here is the growing pile of rotten wood. It seemed like every time he removed one step, he would find another rotten board. I thought the job would never be done.
Meanwhile I was in the garage, painting away.
By the end of the day, we had three beautiful new steps, two new boards on the actual porch, and two new railing posts.
