January 7, 2015: Saffron

"I'm just mad about Saffron.  Saffron's mad about me."
Inspired by our friend Holly, we planted some saffron bulbs this year.  They are growing, and I am hoping they will flower this winter, so we can harvest some saffron :)

    How many blossoms would be needed to be substantial for use?

      No idea :) It is our first time planting saffron, and we are waiting to see what the blossoms even look like.
