We planted some tomato plants today.

May 8, 2013: The Fence we Made this Weekend

We built a fence for our peas.  Rob made the basic structure and we both wove the strings.  Each section is different.  There is even a dreamcatcher section.

It looks like the peas like it.  The first one has grabbed hold and is growing strong :)

I spent some time sitting on a bench with this little guy and his friend.

I didn't even realize they were there :)

May 5, 2013: This Week in the Garden

Irises are blooming.

Strawberries are growing.

Peas are sprouting.

So are the zucchini and pumpkins.

The pond has been cleaned, water plants re-potted, new gravel and filter.

Our plum tree is so heavy with plums that we had to tie it up to another tree.

Potatoes are growing.

And our special fluffy lilac is blooming.

I wish I could post the scent, so you could fully experience it :)
