Beginning of 2014: Cleaning out Rob's Camera

We have not been taking as many photos this year and, obviously, we have not been posting much on this blog.  So, I decided to clean out Rob's camera and give an update on what we've been up to so far this year.

We got some new hats and we love them.  They are so much fun!

We have been playing with the camera timer.

Rainbow!

We had about 2 weeks of snow days.

And lost some large tree limbs in the backyard.

What would a blog post be without a picture of the cat.  She reacquainted herself with her favorite tape measure this winter.  I don't know what she sees in it, but she loves it!

More to come when I clean out the next camera :)

January 12, 2014: A Relaxing Sunday

Wow!  It's been a while since I have posted here. I don't think I will be posting every day this year, but I will post when I have pictures.  I will also have some flashbacks, since I have a lot of pictures that I took but never had the time to post :)

Today, we had a nice, relaxing day.  First Kia and I read on my Kindle.

Then I beat Rob at chess.  Yay!  I never win, so I had to commemorate this victory on the blog :P

4th of July at OCF

We celebrated at the Oregon Country Fair Site, where they had a bonfire and awesome fireworks.

We sat in a giant circle of hippies with antique fire trucks standing by in case of emergency.  We were so close to the fireworks that shrapnel was falling on our heads.  We laughed so hard!

Summer Freak-Out

I had a swollen finger.  We thought it was another MRSA infection, but it was just an arthritis flare-up.

The kitty had surgery for an ear polyp and an abscess draining.  Her ear is still a little swollen today, although her hair is growing back :)

Summer Festival Fun! And Travel Fun!

Pickathon

Wisconsin/Illinois
We went to Illinois for my sister's baby shower and to Wisconsin to see Rob's family, including his parents' puppy!

In the airport, on the way home, we saw a dog groomed to look like the Simpsons family.
