Tonight was my last ESOL class, which means potluck and movie night!  Yay!  These are just some of the goodies that I took home with me.  The chocolate cake is the bomb :)

March 18, 2012: Curve Day

Today was our third curve day for Kia's blood glucose levels.  On curve day, we have to test her blood every two hours for 16 hours to see how her levels change during the day and where her lowest blood glucose levels are.  To test her blood, I have to prick a blood vessel in her ear.

 As you can imagine, this is not Kia's favorite day.

March 16, 2012: Dinner in Corvallis

Tonight we went out to dinner at Big River. It was our first time out for a nice dinner in a long time.

It was a lot of fun :)
Rob had a pizza. I had a couple of small plates: Potatoes Bravas(one of my favorite tapas) and chickpea fries with sweet potato ketchup(pictured below). The fries had a mild curry flavor, and the ketchup was like a chutney almost. Yummy!
Now where should we go eat tomorrow night??

We went to a birthday party for our friends, Luke and Heather. Rob bartended.

I looked cute :POn the way there, we saw the guy at the body paint shop taking the possums in. I wish you could see it better. They have these fiberglass possums that hang outside the shop, and they take them in every night. Too funny.
