December 9, 2012: Kia Pulls a Marilyn

Look at the cold little kitty and her shaved belly.  She loves that heating vent.

December 8, 2012: Rob Tries to Open Some Wine

Rob tried to use this old wine-opener to open a bottle of wine tonight.

It didn't work so well.  Instead it pushed the cork down into the wine and splashed Rob  :-D

Luckily we found our real wine opener and got the bottle open safely.

December 7, 2012: Kia Gets a Sweater

I crocheted a sweater for Kia because she has been cold recently.

Let's just say she was not happy about it.

December 6, 2012: Roasted Cauliflower

Need I say more?

December 5, 2012: Worry Doll

I made worry dolls with one of my classes.  This is my sample.  Isn't she stylish?

December 4, 2012: Lisa Emerges from the Basement

Looking hot as usual :)

December 3, 2012: Snuggly Kitty

December 2, 2012: Craft Fair

Rob made me an amazing grilled sandwich before I left.  Since I don't eat cheese, he put hummus and Tofurky on the inside of the sandwich and he used garlic butter on the outside.  Yum!

I went to the craft fair with a friend.  Rob sent me with a list of scavenger hunt items to find. I only found one of them: a wooden snowman.

Fun day:)

December 1, 2012: Rain

November 30, 2012: Borderlands 2

Our new video game obsession:  Borderlands 2

November 29, 2012: Chickpea Cauliflower Curry

One of our favorite homemade meals.  Yummy!

November 28, 2012: Kia

November 27, 2012: Cuties

I love this time of year: Cuties season.  I can't resist these little guys.

November 26, 2012: Kia Likes the Heat

November is a busy month, and this year our daily photos got a little splotchy.  We will get back to taking pictures every day from now on :)

November 25, 2012: We Paint our Kitchen Cabinets

We painted our kitchen cabinets a pale blue color.

The spice shelf on the opposite wall also got a coat of pale blue.

But the inside of the cabinets got a splash of bright, primary colors.

November 24, 2012: Our Thanksgiving Turkey

November 23, 2012: Rob's Pointy Beard

November 22, 2012: Happy Thanksgiving!

We went for a hike at Silver Falls State Park.  I was supposed to try out my new tripod, but I forgot to charge my camera battery.  Oooops.  These pictures are Rob's and are amazing!

Then we had an amazing dinner: lasagna, garlic bread, and vegan caesar salad.

November 21, 2012: Kia likes Soup...

...if it's cheesy enough :)

November 19, 2012: Weird Pictures

Rob pulled up some photos on our old computer, which has a damaged screen, and photographed them.  Cool, huh?

November 18, 2012: Mark's Ridge Craft Show

Wine, food and art.  What's not to like?

November 17, 2012: Lisa's New Shoes

Yep, they're green :)

November 12, 2012: There's a Foot in our Sink

November 11, 2012: Spider

November 10, 2012: Mushrooms

November 9, 2012: Ticket to Heaven

We found this ticket to Heaven in our 12-pack of beer.  The ticket dares you to tear it up if you don't think you need a ticket to Heaven.  We tried to tear it up, but I'm pretty sure that the paper is untearable.  It seems like the paper has a plastic coating that makes it untearable :)

November 5, 2012: Kia Got Shaved....

....but you can't see it well in this picture.  Her belly got shaved because of matted fur.  Poor naked-bellied kitty :)
