One day, we bought dried apricots as a snack, and Rob wondered, "what woud happen if we soaked a dried apricot in some whiskey? Do you think it would rehydrate?" So, we put a dried apricot in a shot glass with some whiskey. It did rehydrate a little, but that is one tiny apricot!

Our hops plants are sprouting!
My new awesome citrine colored sweatshirt. If you saw the old sweatshirt I was wearing out in public, you would wonder why I hadn't bought a new one sooner. There are some things I just cannot get excited about shopping for :) so Rob took the initiative to rescue me from fashion disaster and ordered me a Pacific sweatshirt. I love it! It's so warm and fuzzy inside.
February 6: Go Pack Go!!!
We made some awesome goodies to eat while watching the big game today. Taco dip and vegan nachos. Yummy!
Neither Rob nor I have ever watched the Super Bowl. This year will be our first ever, and we already have our game faces on. Can't wait to watch the Packers kicking some Steeler butt :)
Just to make the day a little more exciting, the weinermobile was at Fred Meyer's today. Rob was jealous that I had the privelege of seeing this marvel of technology.

We use plastic forks for preparing our cat's food, and we always run them through the dishwasher. Usually they are just fine, but every so often, this happens.

We got to see the movie "Waiting for Superman" during the workday. Rob's school paid for the tickets. Thank you Sand Ridge. It was a very interesting movie.
